“I was terrified to perform in my scene (at the end of the week). I didn't think I knew what to do. I remembered Carol telling us to let the work be the release of our creative energy. I knew I could use the energy from my terror and put it into my character. In Jeffrey's class, he had talked about never starting a scene at the beginning, start it in the middle, so I knew to start my scene in the middle of a conversation. Michael had been teaching us to be aware of our environment and I focused on knowing where everything was in my office and I was able to use specific items which made me feel very comfortable in the scene. Gary had said to always make bold choices, don't be timid. So I took my character to her extremes. All these pieces from my different classes fell together in this one scene.”
